Miss Brenna in the Texas Bluebonnets

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and Jennifer and I enlisted one of of favorite subjects to pose for us in the beautiful Texas Bluebonnets in La Grange. As always, Miss Brenna did a wonderful job sitting there and looking cute for us as we snapped photos of her. It was super cute because at one point she began to get bored with where she had been sitting and she got up and said, "stop, pictures - stop!" as she held her little hand up showing us to stop. Poor Brenna!

Jennifer and Kevin: Engagement

They are meant to be together! My sister Jennifer and her fiance' Kevin were introduced by their mutual friend Shawna. I got a call a couple of years ago from Shawna, who was all kinds of excited about this super cute guy she worked with that she insisted Jen had to meet. I would love to tell you her description of him but to avoid making him blush, I won't.

I had mentioned it to Jen but she just wasn't sure at the time and kind of blew me off. Well the timing happened to not be quite right all around and nothing became of it. About 8 months later I get another super excited phone call from Shawna saying, ok Jen just has to meet Kevin so let's set up a happy hour! I was all excited and called Jen and said Shawna wants to set up happy hour with you, Kevin, her and her husband. After a little persuading, she agreed to go.

They met at Trudy's here in Austin and the rest is history... I want to take a minute to congratulate Jennifer and Kevin on their recent engagement. Jennifer, you are an amazing sister and my best friend and you deserve to be marrying someone as kind and loving as Kevin. And Kevin I want to be the first to say welcome to the family and thank you for always being there for Jennifer and I. You are a great guy and we are all super excited to have you as part of the family!
